Getting Started with Edly Panel
An Introduction to Navigating and Managing Your Edly Platform
Overview
The Edly Panel is a comprehensive management tool designed to centralize administrative tasks. Instead of jumping between different Open edX services, the Panel allows you to manage users, monitor site performance (Insights), customize the look of your site (Themes), and configure global settings—all in one place.
Note: Access to the Edly Panel is restricted to specific administrative roles: Panel User, Panel Admin, and Insights Viewer. To access the Edly Panel with an authorized role, please reach out to your Admin Panel administrator.
The Five Pillars of Edly Panel
In the Ulmo release, the Panel is organized into five primary sections, each accessible from the redesigned sidebar.
Edly Panel is categorized into five sections:
- Edly Panel Dashboard
The Dashboard provides an immediate bird’s-eye view of your platform.
-

- Edly Panel User Management
This section is used for site-level user control.

User Review & Pro-Tip
If you are a new Admin, start by visiting the Dashboard to get a feel for your current MALs (Monthly Active Learners). This will help you understand your platform's scale before you begin bulk user imports.
